Server Migration

2009-09-30 08:00 by Adrian Sutherland

Open-BPM has started migration to a new host.

This will be to a new 4-way 64-bit server (a KVM) with additional RAM and disk space. One of the motivations for this is to provide a platform that will be able to host multiple Hercules S/380 instances.

The KVM has improved security by protecting the contents from our hosting partners' staff. This means we will provide a SSL access knowing our certificates are reasonably secure.

The KVM also provides better network support - and this will allow Hercules hosted hosts to have access to the Internet.

There may be some interruptions to the service over the next few days - and I will post a news article once the migration has been completed.
